Shipping

How orders are packed, dispatched and tracked, and how long they take to reach you.

Last updated [DATE]

Cold-chain note: peptides are temperature-sensitive. Orders are packed to maintain condition in transit, but you should refrigerate or freeze contents promptly on arrival.

Order processing

Orders placed before [CUTOFF TIME] on a business day are prepared for dispatch the same day. Orders placed after that, or on weekends and Canadian statutory holidays, are processed the next business day.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, and a second email with tracking once the parcel is handed to the carrier. If you have not received tracking within [X] business days, contact us at fluxpeptides@gmail.com.

Where we ship

We ship to all Canadian provinces and territories. Because orders are dispatched from within Canada, domestic shipments do not pass through customs and are not subject to import duties.

International shipping is [AVAILABLE / NOT AVAILABLE]. Where offered, the recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for all duties, taxes and compliance with the destination country's rules on research materials. We cannot advise on whether a given compound may lawfully be imported into your country.

Delivery estimates

Transit times below are carrier estimates from the date of dispatch, not guarantees, and exclude the processing time above.

Destination Service Estimate Cost
Ontario and Quebec [CARRIER] Expedited [1-2] business days [$X.XX]
Western provinces [CARRIER] Expedited [2-4] business days [$X.XX]
Atlantic provinces [CARRIER] Expedited [2-5] business days [$X.XX]
Territories and remote [CARRIER] Standard [5-10] business days [$X.XX]

Free shipping applies to orders over [$THRESHOLD] before tax.

Packaging

Vials are shipped in discreet outer packaging with no description of contents on the exterior. Lyophilised material is stable in transit at ambient temperature for the durations above, which is why we do not ship with coolant as standard. If your protocol requires cold-chain shipping, contact us before ordering.

Tracking, delays and lost parcels

Every order ships with tracking. Once a parcel is accepted by the carrier, transit time is outside our control. Weather, strike action and carrier backlogs can extend delivery beyond the estimates above.

If tracking has not updated for [X] business days, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier. A parcel is generally not treated as lost until the carrier completes its trace, which can take up to [X] business days. Outcomes for lost and damaged parcels are covered in the refund policy.

Incorrect addresses and failed delivery

Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. We dispatch to the address exactly as entered. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address or an uncollected delivery, we can reship it once the return arrives, with shipping charged again at the rates above.

What to do the moment a parcel arrives

Lyophilised peptides tolerate ambient transit well, but the clock on your condition claim starts at delivery. A short routine on arrival protects both the material and your ability to raise an issue if something is wrong.

  • Open and inspect the same day.
Check each vial for cracks, a compromised seal, or loose or discoloured powder before storing anything.
  • Photograph anything unexpected.
Photograph the vial, its label and the outer packaging as received, before you move or discard any of it. Claims are far easier to assess with the packaging intact.
  • Record the batch identifier.
Note it against your own records while the vial is in front of you.
  • Move to cold storage.
Transfer to minus 20 degrees Celsius, protected from light, rather than leaving the parcel on a bench overnight.

Why we do not ship with coolant as standard

Lyophilised material is stable at ambient temperature for the domestic transit durations quoted above, which is why coolant is not included by default. Adding gel packs to a short domestic shipment increases weight and cost without measurably improving condition on arrival, and a partly thawed pack can introduce condensation that is worse than no coolant at all.

If your protocol requires documented cold-chain shipping, contact us before ordering and we will quote it separately.

Reading your tracking

Tracking updates when a parcel is scanned, not continuously. A gap of a day or two between scans is normal, particularly over a weekend or between provinces. What matters is movement over several days rather than hour-to-hour detail.

Two statuses are worth acting on. Delivered but not received usually means the carrier left it in a safe place or with a neighbour, so check those first and then contact the carrier the same day. Held at facility or an address query means the carrier needs something from you, and the parcel will be returned to sender if it goes unanswered.

Deliveries to institutions

If you are shipping to a university, hospital or shared laboratory, use the full receiving-department address and include a room, department or contact name. Parcels delivered to a central mailroom can sit for days before reaching the end recipient, and that time counts against the storage guidance above. Where a loading dock has restricted hours, note them in the order comments so we can select an appropriate service.
